A happy squad wins,I will do anything to make sure my players are comfortable, happy and ready to tackle opposition.

Rugby highlight as a Manager:

2015 League Campaign as a whole was special and the way we ended vs UCT will live long in the memory.

So biased:) Jono vd Walt

Family background / make up:

Very happily married to the ever understanding Samantha Berry with an amazing 15 month old daughter Jessica.

How do you chill?

Spending alone time with my family and being active.

What are your aspirations for the Bay?

My rugby goals are simple, to have a HAPPY and SUCCESSFUL campaign. If we are not laughing and having fun along the way then it really isn't worth it. Besides that to lift some more silverware!!!

What is it about the Bay that inspires you?

Unconditional welcoming you receive. Within a month of the change to The Bay I had shared a beer and with many senior club members and felt part of the family and I wasn't even a player...the people I have met and friendships I have made over the years at the club is something special. Never pulled the Jersey on or earned the colours but feel a part of it.

What do you do to relax or what are your interests outside of rugby?

Quiet family time, spending time with friends, Golf, being active.
