Joined the Bay in 1985, on and off ever since.

False Bay, Defence, and a brief 6 months down Landsdown Rd….

Position played:

Loosehead or 4 lock

 

Rugby philosophy:

Camaraderie, commitment and consistency with 100 % effort will always triumph.

 

Life philosophy:

Take time to smell the roses. Always show appreciation.

Playing for False Bay Jocks 6th team, captained by Brent Jordaan.

Anytime we have beaten Hamiltons

Family background / make up:

I have 3 daughters, the oldest of whom is only now starting to take an interest in the Bay……although she still doesn’t watch rugby!!!! Worrying, very worrying!

 

How do you chill?

I fill water bottles..

 

What are your aspirations for the Bay?

To always have full water bottles and to continue to make a difference in the community we serve.

 

What is it about the Bay that inspires you?

31 years of friendships and cold beers after the game.

 

Who at False Bay inspires you?

FiFOs including Froggy and Andy, and a totally committed leadership structure Louis, Doc and all the grey heads.

 

What do you do to relax or what are your interests outside of rugby?

Spend time with people I love.
