Rugby is like a family, the more you put in the more you get out.

You either can or you can't. 

Rugby highlight as a player: 

Playing for the bay. Winning the Jocks league. 

 

Rugby highlight in your role:

Watching our 2016 under 20's beat Hamiltons under 20's and seeing them realize they have something going. 

Favourite Club Player:

Too many to choose from but definitely had the best front row mates to play with. Rico, Gareth,John, Derek, Mike, Brent.

Family background / make up (if you want to share this):

Born in Natal. Met Vivienne in Cape Town 1986. Married in 1992 and have had two great children Michael and Lara. Michael plays for the Bay and Lara is a keen supporter and her boyfriend Ross plays for the bay. 

How do you chill?

I like to cook so most Sunday afternoons u will find me creating some sort of dish. 

What are your aspirations for the Bay?

To be the best family club around. 

What is it about the Bay that inspires you?

Good people and a Solid vibe 

Who at False Bay inspires you?

Too many to mention but the management team are all special people. 

What do you do to relax or what are your interests outside of rugby?

I enjoy riding adventure motorbikes and get away as often as possible. I also have a passion for training so in my work environment I work hard at empowering others to do better.
